The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility of Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship or both, for Indian Universities and Colleges.
UGC NET Exam Pattern
- The exam is conducted in Computer-based Online mode.
- The test will consist of two papers and both the papers will have objective type questions.
- The choice for the paper medium can be exercised at the time of filling the form. Candidates can choose either Hindi or English language.
- The duration for Paper I is 1 hour and Paper II is 2 hours.
- Total Marks- 300
